Interview Questions and Tips

Introduce yourself to me”

Tip- don't start with “I am so and so…” be creative. Also make sure you mention teamwork as your strength.

“Tell me something about your family”

Tip- don't show any family insecurities..financial or emotional.. l&t want you to be able to live away from your family.

“What do you know about L&T”

Tip- research well, especially the different ICs of L&T and add which IC you wanna work for. Also mention the major ongoing projects of L&T.

“Tell me about your internships"

Tip-Highlight the knowledge and skills you acquired. DON'T TELL A DAMN STORY!!!

“Which is your strong subject”

Tip- mention the subject on which your job role is based for best result. Study the subject well.

“Tell me what you know about this subject”

Tip- first tell an abstract of the subject, its contents, and finally how this subject will be useful to you in L&T.

Quiz on the subject you have choosen. Will make you draw diagrams.

Tip- answer “I don't know” if you don't know. Jugaad na kar :P

“ what's your goal in life”

Tip- here you can lie as much as you want. Tell a long term and short term goal and then a career goal.

“any questions for me?”

Tip- just ask something like what does L&T expect out from its employees. Ask just one!

Interview time: 30-45 mins.

Additional tips-

wear light blue or light purple shirt and a striped tie. Just don't wear white!!

Firm handshake. Greet the interviewer in the beginning and thank him for his time in the end.

Crack a joke whenever feasible. Lighten the mood.
