Essay describing my experience as a NSS volunteer
As we all know, National Service Scheme, is a program with youth at its center to mentor the society to bring social awareness for betterment in welfare and development of the people. I am not sure, if I (as part of this whole team) have brought any considerable change in society with NSS or not, but I am very much sure that NSS has brought a considerable change in me through social service. Every one of us have, by default a certain skills set, but to be successful we have to continuously up-skill and re-skill. As a student, we have different platforms to learn and showcase our skill when it comes to professional or technical skills in this digital era, but for understanding and learning things like dignity of Labour or working in hierarchy, I think NSS is the best possible platform at our immediate reach.
